EDLD 5301 - Week 2 Reflection
This week I learned about many types of action research topics and the benefits of conducting research. This week I also met with my site supervisor and decided on my research topic. The topic is: What is the technology proficiency level of the teachers in my school and how do they use technology in their classrooms? My mentor feels that the results of this research would benefit my school the most. Since we want to use action research to improve our professional practices and schools, it only makes sense to choose a topic that does this.

Rob, your topic sounds like a good one. This week the videos mentioned that we ought to do research that will ultimately help the students and will interest you. Your research will help improve your school and that interests your site supervisor!
ReplyDeleteI think this is an excellent topic that can really benefit your campus. It will be interesting to see your results. This is a question definitely worth asking! It could also serve as a model that could be expanded in your district at a later date.
